The goal at 3fe has always been to create excellent cups of coffee and when we opened the Dublin roastery in January 2014 this remained our focus. Our cafe on Grand Canal Street works closely with our roastery to ensure that there is a constant channel of feedback and data to help make every cup we make as good as possible.

The roastery itself is the brainchild of co-owner Steve Leighton who sourced all of our equipment and is responsible for sourcing all of our coffee. Steve travels to the best farms and co-ops across the world and establishes relationships with all of the producers to ensure there is a mutual benefit and a strong feedback loop to ensure better coffees are produced in coming harvests.

Our coffees change as the seasons progress as we tend to deal with smaller producers and work through their produce while its fresh and tasty. As coffee comes into season in different parts of the world you'll see our offering changing to reflect that. Our blends will have a definite flavour profile in mind but the constituent components of the blends will change throughout the year to meet that particular flavour.

Our roasters work tirelessly to produce great coffee and are always tasting, tweeking and testing to ensure we're getting the most from each lot we buy. As a team of former baristas, both our wholesale and roasting teams are heavily invested in producing excellent roasts to ensure equally amazing cups of coffee.

Today we supply coffee to some of the best cafes in the country and ship bags to homes all over Ireland. Although we started wholesaling coffee in the Dublin area, we hope to soon have a cafe serving 3fe coffee in every county in Ireland in the not-too-distant future.
